Juan Miguel Gonzalez Morales was born in Almeria in January 17th 1947. Juan began learnign the art ofJuan Miguel Gonzalez guitar workshop traditional guitar construction in 1960 with his father, Miguel González Abad who also worked together with the late great luthier, Gerundino Fernandez. Juan Miguel Gonzalez is widely recognized as one of the great flamenco guitar makers living today. The guitar of Juan have a special duende flamenco players seek and love. To name a few of his clients Tomatito, Norberto Torres, Monolo Franco or Carlos Piñana. Juan Miguel Gonzalez his work is constantly evolving, he only produces about 15 up to 20 guitars a year and his waiting list is growing. Next to his home in Almeria, Juan Miguel Gonzalez holds an incredible old aged stock of master grade woods. His craftsmanship is one of the best we have ever seen.
